How to Add an Auction you are already
running on eBay to Inventory
- Create Auction so you are in the poster screen
- Minimize Poster screen
- View page you wish to add to inventory
- Copy title of auction
- Bring up AS Poster screen and double click in the Title
area.
- Right click and select paste to paste the title you
copied
- View page you wish to add to inventory again
- Scroll down to the description area
- Point mouse cursor to the beginning of description area
and Click Left Mouse Button
- Press and hold the Shift Key
- Scroll to bottom of the description (leaving out 3rd
party add-ons to your description. counter, etc)
- Click Left Mouse Button. Description area should be
highlighted now
- Move mouse cursor over highlighted area and Right click
- Select Copy
- Bring up Front Page or Front Page Express
- From the Front Page File menu select New and then Normal
Page
- Right click on the Front Page window and select Paste.
- There will be a delay while pixes are downloaded. You
should see your auction description including pixes in
the front page window
- Go to the File Menu and select "Save As"
- Save as file
- Locate a folder to save it to and name the file whatever
you want. Remember the name.
- Bring up the AS poster window
- Double click in the description area
- Press the Insert key on your keyboard
- Locate that file you saved previously and open it
- AS will read in the file and ask to upload pixes. Answer
No (or Yes, doesnt matter since there are no pixes to
upload)
- Now just set the duration, starting bid , category and
any other preferences and you are done.
- Go ahead and click the post-preview button to see what
your auction will look like
